Advento App terms of service

These terms apply when you use Advento App, at app.advento.pro or through the Advento app in the Shopify App Store. They are between you, the business that opens the account, and SIA "Advento.pro" ("Advento", "we"). The Advento dashboard we run for agency clients has its own terms of service.

1. Who we are, and who you are

  1. We are SIA "Advento.pro", registration no. 40203689734, Jēkabpils nov., Viesīte, Brīvības iela 6-7, LV-5237, Latvia. For help write to [email protected].
  2. Advento App is for businesses only, not for consumers. When you sign up or install the app you confirm that you act for a business and may accept these terms for it.
  3. Our data processing agreement and our privacy policy are part of these terms. If they disagree with these terms about your data, the data processing agreement wins.

2. The service

  1. Advento App is a read only dashboard of your store, ad, analytics and email data. It shows your real profit, where money leaks, and sends you the emails and alerts you choose.
  2. It is not accounting, tax or financial advice. The figures are estimates, built from the data your platforms give us and the costs you set. Some figures are marked as estimates. Platforms can be late, wrong or incomplete, and so can the numbers built on them.
  3. Business decisions are yours. We do not promise any increase in sales or profit.

3. Your account

  1. Keep your sign-in safe. You are responsible for the people you invite into your workspace and for what they do there.
  2. One free scan and one free trial per store.
  3. You can rename your workspace, sign out of other devices, download your data and delete the workspace yourself at any time in Settings.

4. The free money scan

  1. The free scan needs no card. You connect Shopify (and Meta if you want), we read your last 60 days and show you your real profit and the money you could get back.
  2. We delete what we read 7 days later, unless you start a plan or ask for the free Monday report. Asking for the Monday report means you agree that we keep reading your store once a week to write it. You can switch it off at any time.

5. Plans, trial and payment

  1. Plans. Starter, Growth and Scale. Every plan has every connection. Plans differ by the number of stores, people and months of history, and whether you can build your own boards. What each plan includes and its price are shown in the app before you subscribe. Prices for businesses exclude VAT unless shown otherwise.
  2. Partner. Partner is our done for you service, where we also fix the problems we find. It is agreed in writing with you, and that agreement wins over these terms for the Partner work.
  3. The 14 day free trial needs a card. Nothing is charged during the 14 days, and we email you 3 days before they end. When the trial ends your plan starts and the first payment is taken, unless you cancelled before.
  4. Who bills you. If you installed Advento from the Shopify App Store, Shopify bills you on your Shopify invoice and holds your card. If you signed up directly, Stripe bills you. Either way we never see your full card number.
  5. Paid in advance. Plans are paid monthly in advance, or yearly where we offer it, and renew automatically until you cancel.
  6. Price changes. We tell you by email at least 30 days before a price change. It applies from your next billing period after the notice ends.

6. No payment, no service

  1. The service stops at once, with no grace period, if your trial ends without a plan or a payment fails. If you cancel, it stops at the end of the period you paid for (section 7).
  2. When the service stops, we keep your data for 30 days, out of use, so you can come back where you left off. After 30 days it is permanently deleted.
  3. You can download everything and delete your workspace yourself at any time. If you delete it, it is deleted at once, and our backups expire within 35 days.

7. Cancelling

  1. You can cancel at any time in the app, in Settings, in two taps. No fee, no call, no form.
  2. When you cancel, everything keeps working until the end of the period you already paid for. Then the service stops and section 6 applies. We do not charge you again.
  3. If you installed from the Shopify App Store, uninstalling the app also cancels your plan.

8. Find more than it costs, or your money back

  1. If in your first paid month Advento has not shown you more money than you paid us for that month, email [email protected] within 45 days of your first payment and we refund that month. No form, no call.
  2. The refund goes back to the card you paid with for direct sign-ups (through Stripe), or as a Shopify app credit for App Store installs.
  3. The guarantee covers the first paid month only, once per store.

9. Your data

  1. Your data stays yours. You let us process it only to run the service for you, as set out in our data processing agreement.
  2. We never sell it, never use it to train AI models, and never share it with other customers. Anonymous benchmarks across stores are made only if you opt in.
  3. We never read your customers' names, emails, phone numbers or addresses.

10. Connections to other platforms

  1. You connect Shopify, Meta Ads, Google Ads, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Klaviyo, Microsoft Clarity and the other platforms we support yourself, on each platform's own screen. Their terms keep applying to your use of them.
  2. Connections are read only. We never spend, post, change settings or edit anything in your accounts.
  3. You must have the right to connect each account. If a platform limits or ends our access, we may not be able to show some numbers, and that is not a breach of these terms.

11. Fair use

Do not reverse engineer the app, scrape it, resell it, share accounts outside your business, try to reach other customers' data, connect stores or accounts you are not allowed to connect, or use it for anything unlawful. We may suspend an account that does, after telling you why where we can.

12. Availability and support

  1. We work to keep the app available and to fix problems quickly, but we do not promise it will never be down. There is no uptime guarantee on Starter and Growth.
  2. Help is by email at [email protected]. Scale gets priority support.
  3. We may improve, change or retire features. If we close the service, we give at least 30 days notice and refund any period paid in advance and not used.

13. Liability

  1. Our total liability to you under or in connection with these terms is limited to the fees you paid us for Advento App in the 12 months before the claim.
  2. We are not liable for loss of profit, revenue, business or goodwill, for any indirect or consequential loss, or for decisions you make based on the figures.
  3. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

14. Suspension and ending

  1. We may suspend or end your account for non-payment or misuse, telling you first where we can. We may also end these terms with 30 days notice.
  2. You can end these terms at any time by cancelling and deleting your workspace.
  3. When the account ends, your data is handled as in section 6 and on our data deletion page.

15. Changes to these terms

We tell account owners by email at least 30 days before a material change takes effect. If you keep using the app after that, the new terms apply. If you do not agree, you can cancel before the change takes effect.

16. Law and courts

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Latvia, and the courts of Latvia decide any dispute. If your business is in the UK, you may also bring a claim in the courts of England and Wales. These terms are written in English; if they are translated, the English text wins.
